Portlaoise according to the news report. He has to present himself there today 2 weeks.
It’s a lenient sentence. I’m surprised he will be required to serve it at all instead of immediately going into the witness protection programme once he’s given evidence against Hutch. There’s a fair risk of him being “got” even in maximum security Portlaoise.
Remember the Charlie Bowden fellah who turned supergrass against Gilligan? I think he was spirited out of the country immediately and served no time here.
