Shevchenko is a lucky boy on current form but at least he has done it in the past but the weirdest has to be Darren Bent. A great season for Charlton gets you nearly 6 million euro a year? Fuckin hell. His agent must be shithot.
Harry Kewell on 4.8 is a jammy bastard too.

Yeah you’re always going to get loads of lads who are in their 30s now but still earning big bucks because they’ve big reputations. Even Sol Campbell is in some way justifiable - no way he should be the 15th biggest earner in Europe but he’s plenty of caps and he did go for no fee didn’t he?
Bent on the other hand is just ridiculous.
Not surprised to see Pauleta in there but that guy’s a fucking charlatan.

I got as far as no.3 and made a point of not reading any further
Every top team in Europe represented…except Arsenal - it’s actually incredible that a team can compete in the highest level these days without paying top dollar to/for anyone. It would be interesting to see what their best players are on.
Tottenham are taking the piss. Bent is on more than the likes of Robinho, Totti, Eto’o and Essien for fooks sake.
France Football today released the figures for the highest paid players and coaches in world football and there are no prizes for guessing who came on top of the pile.
The highest paid player is, of course, Lionel Messi, the magazine estimated that he earned in the region of €33 million last year through a combination of wages and some lucrative sponsorship deals.
The fact that commercial earnings are also a factor is, we assume, the only reason that the 36-year old and well past his best midfielder David Beckham comes in at second on the list having earned approximately €31.5 million last year, just over €2 million more than Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo in third.
Top 20 highest paid players in world football
Lionel Messi (Barcelona) €33m (per annum)
David Beckham (LA Galaxy) €31.5m
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) €29.2m
Samuel Eto’o (Anzhi Makhachkala) €23.3m

€8.5m for being a national team manager is madness.

What’s the source on this MBB?
I saw some Spanish one last week that had Dalglish in the top 10.
Try the first line. France Football.
