Tottenham Hotspur, the Ryan Mason variant

Weā€™ll just have to get used to teams playing a very narrow, low block against us & basically sitting in, trying to frustrate & hit on the counter. I know back in the Brisbane Roar days @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy used to complain that Angeā€™s plan b was more of plan a, but you canā€™t really quibble with his methods as success invariably follows.

Lets go Brennan  :deciduous_tree:

Bang

Unreal second goal there. Maddison brilliant for it after a sloppy first half.

Brilliant goal by Angeā€™s team.

That was a lovely goal from Son to double our lead. 0-2.

Spurs are a different team since Brennan joined

A bargain. Should have been a lot more in for him. Any team could do with a lad like that

Postecoglou seems to play with the two centre halves and two inverted full backs in midfield or even further on in the build up.

Thatā€™s different to most teens who play with three and the one inverted full back.

Great to see someone not blindly copying Pep.

Ange-ball is a thing of beauty

Poor defending there. 1-2. Nervy 4 minutes of injury time now. Might get a VAR reprieve for handball though.

Goal stands.

1-2 win.

Weā€™re 5 clear at the top of the table. Weā€™ll take some
stopping.

Phew that was closer than it should have been. Was happy to hear the full time whistle

This is a fixture that always has me edgy no matter how shitty Chelsea look.

For the longest time Spurs never seemed to get even a point against Chelsea
Like you Iā€™m never confident in this fixture,
