Tottenham Hotspur, the Ryan Mason variant

Gaz Neville and Frankie Lamps were having a good old chuckle about ā€œThree Point Laneā€ I see. :grinning:

Signor Conte seems a quite honest and straightforward chap.

He came out this morning and basically said heā€™s inherited a squad of wankers. Refreshingly frank.

There were at least 5 or 6 starters last night who should have been offloaded a long time ago and with a bit of luck wonā€™t feature again in a Spurs jersey.

A 2-0 win over Brentford.

His through ball for the first goal last night was sublime.

Spurs quietly making their way up the table. Conte will have them getting better and better. Two points off the top four and with a game in hand.

Spurs are currently 7/2 to finish in the top four. I may have a piece of that

Need to drop that donkey Kane when they get a new striker in January.

Cristian Romero out until at least February with a serious hamstring injury. Between various niggles and quarantine after returning from playing with Argentina, heā€™ll have played about 500 minutes of league football by the time he returns sometime in 2022. Wouldnā€™t be exercising the buy option on him from Atalanta. Another Argentinian Lamela/Lo Celso sick note who only plays very sporadically.

Conte badly needs to get some players in January. A back 3 last night of Dier, Davies and Davinson Sanchez. That might get you over the line at home to Brentford but not sustainable for any length of time.

That deal is one of many being investigated by the Italian authorities.

Not that it might, it did. Spurs are on the up and big London clubs like West Ham and Chelsea are now under threat of losing out on their Champions League spot in the EPL.

Up to 5th with a 3-0 home win over bottom of the table Norwich.

Conte has them humming.

Coach Conte has certainly shaken things up and players that were moribund for a couple of years are showing signs of a return to life and a bit of fight. Weā€™ve had a nice run of fixtures though to record those 3 consecutive league wins - all at home to Leeds, Brentford and Norwich. Relying on some very ordinary players in the team, that need to be upgraded on.

The next three league games to take us up to Christmas will tell a lot - away to Graham Potterā€™s Brighton & Hove Albion and Leicester and then home to Liverpool.

Covid outbreak in the Spurs squad.

The dirty Italian passing in his unhygienic ways already.

Flagged for racism

Looks like weā€™re going to be out of the InterToto Cup thankfully. Thereā€™s not going to be a re-fixture against Rennes. Our fate is now in the hands of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body.

A sign the THFC fortunes are turning if they are booted out the INTERTOTO Cup

Back in action this afternoon. God knows what sort of weakened state the team will be in after getting struck down by the deadly virus these past few weeks.

Liverpool the opposition. Just the 1 win in our last 19 meetings there.
