Conte doing a very good job. Will Levy back him?

United must be sick looking at him

Heā€™s on an 18 month deal at Spurs so I think he will need assurances from Levy of financial backing and autonomy in the transfer market or he will go if another big team comes in and offers him that.

Heā€™s walked out of clubs before on those grounds - Juve and Chelsea there were disagreements on transfer strategy and he left Inter during the summer because their financial situation dictated they had to sell two of his key men who he brought to the club in Lukaku and Hakimi.

So if Levy doesnā€™t back him and United come in with assurances of such then Iā€™d say he would go. There would only need to be 12 months compensation.

I donā€™t think heā€™d work at man united at the moment anyway.

Ralph is the man for now.

Conte has shown in the past that if heā€™s backed he will succeed.

Thereā€™s lots of deadwood that needs moved on at United.

Exactly but heā€™s not the man to shift deadwood. To topple Man City youā€™ll need a 100 plus points.

Conte would get second easily but heā€™d lose patience quickly.

Man united isnā€™t a quick fix. Itā€™ll take time.

The colossal white elephant debt could come back to haunt Spurs

thats brilliant to see

Reading there that no team in the near 30 years of the Premier League incarnation of the top flight league has trailed as late as Spurs did last night, behind up to 94.52 and then gone on to win.

Previous record was Manchester City, behind at 91.14 in the final game of the 2011/12 season against Queens Park Rangers.

Newcastle scored twice late in injury time away to Everton a couple of years back. Assume it was to get a draw rather than a win. Everton gave the ball away from the kick off and conceded and free kick which Newcastle lumped straight into the box and bundled home

Presume so.

Spurs trailed 1-0 at Swansea on 88 minutes back in 2016/17. Scored three times from there - Bamidele, Son and Eriksen to win 3-1. That was a record at the time as well for a team trailing so late in the EPL and then scoring 3 to win.

Conte out

Yeah that was a 3-3 draw if my memory serves me right.

Did one of the United fanboys on here say they didnā€™t want Conte as he was too defensive?

United didnā€™t want Conte I donā€™t know why he is still linked there.

Gary Neville said Coach Conte wasnā€™t a good fit that he wouldnā€™t do things ā€˜the united wayā€™. That was that, then.
