Tottenham Hotspur

In fairness they put all their eggs in the Europa basket from a long way out. The league didn’t matter a fuck to them for the last 6 months of the season. Last season’s 5th placed finish would usually be enough to qualify for the Champions League from England going forward.

Who would you like as his successor yourself?

How many games a season do you go to

I think the Ten Hag situation done for him. Probably not the best model to follow though or to try and learn by their mistakes.

And they actually sacked him, their statement says he was relieved of his duties. No sugar coating or talk of mutual consent like usually happens.

Looks like a big mistake to me.

Ange will replace Farke at Leeds in my opinion.

The statement also says it was a unanimous board decision which is unusually harsh I would have thought

I’d say it all just means Ange refused an NDA for an extra few quid compensation and so Levy is being as slopey shouldered as he can be. Apparently they need pay Ā£10m to Brentford if they are to get their man, as well as Anges compensation - money they wouldn’t have only for Ange qualifying them for the champions league. I’m sure he will get plenty media work in the months ahead and won’t hold back on Levy.

There’s obviously a case to keep Ange after winning a trophy. But it’s hardly an outrageous decision either. Spurs were fucking septic all year

Crippling injury list combined with a decision 10 or more games out to put all the eggs in the Europa basket. He’s been shafted

I would have left him at it. But sure 17th

Very harsh on Ange I thought,

Particularly the losing Kane bit,

Oh and also winning a European trophy!

But he knew he was dealing with Levy from the start.

He finished 17th after losing more than 20 games. I don’t think he’s entitled to be outraged.

I’m not saying he should be outraged but all in I think it was harsh.

He scraped the European Intermediate title beating diddy teams like Bodo Glimt and Manchester United. Hardly grounds for keeping a manager at a club that aspires to be European royalty and has the ground to match that aspiration.

I don’t think they aspire to being European royalty and if they did it would be daft.

And winning the Europa League is a big achievement despite how you wish to paint it.

What I will say is that if Ange had any part in paying 65m for Dominic Solanke then he deserves the sack.

There were lads on here saying Klopp should never have sold Dom Solanke
