Tottenham Hotspur

Down again here rolling around

First time I’ve seen the Dippers all season. Horrible team that reflect very badly on Slop.

VVD went down there after he headed the ball

They’re hanging on here against a 9 man Spurs team that are relegation standard.

Ref rightly getting it from the Spurs players.

That’s one hell of a one sided ref performance. Romero should have been off ages before

Can’t have any complaints about either red card. Both utterly idiotic.

The second one was silly but the Liverpool player acted the cunt too

A lot of seethe in here this evening.

It’s the Tottenham Hotspur thread. We’re just toxic at the moment.

A shambles really

Second Dipper goal would have been chalked off with a look at LiVARpool and the foul on the Spurs player in the build up.

Quite the contrast to the forensic review of the Spurs goal to try and find a reason to chalk it off.

Your lads were an undisciplined bunch and failed to see that the referee and the VAR officials are there to do their jobs in a professional manner.
Both red cards were petulant actions that merely embarrassed themselves and let down their club. No excuses really. Must do better.

I’ve already said no complaints over the Spurs sending offs.

No proper review of the Dippers goal though. If there was and a proper application of the rules of the game to LiVARpool it would have been chalked off for Ekitieke push in the back on Romero.

Referees and VAR officials selective in doing their jobs and in application of the rules of the game.

A completely irrelevant fixture to the premier league season

Sky seemed at pains to tell us it was the highest scoring fixture in epl history

Look at it closely on MOTD later. It’s perfectly clear that he didn’t even move his arms - perfectly clear. Your man was outjumped and sought an excuse.

I’ve seen it already. I saw the second half of the game. That Dippers goal should have been disallowed but that’s just the way of the world. The elite coterie of super franchises rarely get calls against them. The odd time it does happen, there’s blue murder. When the Dippers got about the only bad calls against them that I can recall in the fixture, in nearly 50 years of following Spurs, Klopp had a breakdown and was calling for the game to be replayed.

Aside from that game in 2023, Spurs also had the rub of the green in a 2-2 draw around December 2021. Harry Kane was very fortunate to escape a red card if I remember correctly and Andy Robertson saw red the same day. The late Diogo Jota was denied a stonewall penalty too.

Romero suspended now until 2026. He can head off home to Argentina for Christmas.
