Top 5 within 1’ 12" of the lead. Its going to be very hard for Froome to defend against that. I think one of them will beat him. Wouldn’t it be great if it was Martin.

Froome will go well in the TT on Saturday. Someone will need the bones of a minute lead going into to.Friday is a big stage up the Col d’Izoard.
That’s on Thurs - Friday is a long but relatively flat stage.

50 seconds lost. That’s that for GC. Down to 7th. Still it might give him some leeway for a stage in the next two days. Contador lost 90 seconds, he will definitely be attacking. Matthews won.
Quickstep fucked up royally, they should protect their GC guy. Especially when your sprinter doesn’t bring home the bacon.

As expected Contador having a go today. He’s about two and a half minutes ahead of the peloton half way up the first big climb today. Early days. It will get tasty in about one hour.
