AG2R did a lot of riding made it easy for Sky. Bardet never attacked. All riding for their current positions.
For a final day in the mountains the stage wasn’t nearly hard enough.
You need three Hors Categorie climbs to blow the field apart long before the final climb.
One first category climb was never going to do it.
