That was a cracking ending to the stage. A big wide road with a really good surface and straight as a die for the last 400/500 metres or so.

Losing the minute in the crash has alresdy cost him. Think there are not so many summit finishes left, maybe a couple. Martin should have a chance to make a bit of time on Saturday. Problem is that Sky control the pace so well and for so long in stages. Just one TT left, short but with a vicious 1km climb in the middle of it. Aru looks to be the most likely to beat Froome. Quinrana lost time today.
Aru has the best drugs.

Froome and Aru missed a bend today and nearly ended up among a few caravans.
Lovely protruding HGH teeth, gums and jawline on Aru here.
They just said “Cummings got swallowed up…”
He didn’t have the stamina and flopped on the Peyresourde. It was a real anti-climax for him.
Cummings went a little prematurely and Blew up . Good effort. Froome had a lucky escape, not many come out of a tinkers yard with a 10k bike in their possession .

Happened me one night coming home from Davy Mann’s in Rathkeale
