Not taking the port tunnel is only cheaper if you value your time at zero

That’s hell all day not just at peak times.

Port tunnel. East link. Up by beggars bush and onto mount street and park in Merrion square and walk up.

Edit - if carrying cargo park on hatch street

Thanks pal. I’ll be leaving fairly early. If I’ve to spend 45 minutes parked up waiting and doing a bit on TFK and answering a few emails, that’ll be better than sitting in traffic

Does the port tunnel charge cover the east link toll?

No.

If you’ll be in town for 8 you’ll be fine. Traffic wont be that bad as schools are off and lots of people take this week off. Save the €10, straight up through Drumcondra around by Bolton Street, up Capel Street across Parliament St, around Little Ship Street, up Aungier St, around the Green, up Pembroke St and park the car, then go for a cuppa and read TFK.

By accident I came in via Drumcondra the last time and things moved smoothly enough

Many primary schools take mid term this week

Strange that 12 minutes have passed without a reply to this, those trucks won’t load themselves though.
