Traffic management advice thread for roasters

Via Tullamore I’d say.

Traffic be alright at that time?

You won’t have to go into the centre of Portlaoise and Tullamore has a ring road I’d say you’ll be fine

Sound. Only found out today I was going. 2 nights in Mullingar FFS :face_vomiting:

I’d leave about 5.45. Give yourself a good half hour an hour of fresh air to get the bang of Cork of ye.

Are the Nevins putting you up?

You in the ERU?

A lot of stuff falling into place :face_with_monocle:

Won’t have to go near Portlaoise. You can head straight into Mountmellick from Mountrath. It’ll save you a good half hour /40 minutes

No

I was told one time that I shouldn’t be going to mullingar at night.
“why not?” says I.
“Shkinhids” says your man, “there’s Shkinids in mullingar”

Exactly what a member of the ERU would say

What is the ERU?

Emergency Response Unit of An Garda Síochána. The boys with the Uzis.

:joy::joy:

Good one

is it not the ARU?

There’s the ERU, RRU and ARU.

then again I thought an AFO like you would know that :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We’ve said too much

What?

How do you think he avoided detection all this time?

Via Tullamore is the better of two bad options. Roads are woeful. You’ll get caught behind a truck at some stage and there’s nowhere to pass em so give yourself a few extra minutes.
