Any idea what happened him?
The big C, sadly.
He was a proper old school centre half. Cleared everything that came his way, man and ball. A real fans favourite. R.I.P
Supposedly was brought in with stomach pains and then diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Cunt of a thing. Similar story to a lad I grew up with. An absolute gent. Very sporty. A teacher out on Castletroy College. Gone about 10 years now.
Ah Jesus, 35 ah lads.
Jesus - that is awful
God rest him
RIP
A serious defender, probably the best Limerick had in the O’Sullivan era.
2-0
Just back from Fortress Markets Field.
A tight and tense Munster derby, result which is much more beneficial to us than them. A game of few chances, the best of which the visitors spurned just after half time.
Limerick, ehm, I mean Treaty looked more dangerous as the game went on. Willie Armshaw’s pace is ridiculous. Fancied us to nick it late on but a point solidifies the play off spot.
Small bit of aggro after, the Cork gurriers letting off flares and mouthing off at the Gardai and passers by.
Crowd of around 1,500. First game since the pandemic. Good to be back, can’t beat a bit of Friday night football.
Tasty enough affair in the Market’s Field crowd-wise. Dour enough game, Treaty started very defensively but brought on their 4 most attacking players in the second half and looked way more dangerous. Looked good on the break and the more likely in the last 20; Armshaw, McSweeney & Melody made a big difference. Cork had had the better opportunities in the middle section.
Guards baton charged a few Cork at the end, few fireworks being chucked around the place aswell.
Treaty are 7/1 to night which seems big. They were 11/1 earlier
Treaty have drew with Shels twice this season.
Had a small play.
Jesus , Cork City FC has the biggest percentage of half wits following them . Bigger than any other sporting entity on this island
The usual hold me back hold me back fanny acting
There was a baldy shade there only ready to open a few skulls
Signing in from the Markets Field where a point will secure a play off place for Tommy Barrett’s side.
