Since Treaty FC were formed, would there be alot of disgruntlement on the ground in Limerick towards Limerick FC? (well, more than usual)

How are their underage teams faring in general?

Not sure tbh. I’d say the majority that would have had an interest in Limerick FC would have made the switch to Treaty when they got the license for the first division. The Blue Army have anyway cc @chops91

Limerick are looking to field a u15 and u17s team next year.

There was a Treaty vs Limerick underage game a few months back.

Any links for a live stream of this? Firmly on the bandwagon for tonight so I am

Nope no disgruntlement at all. We all made the love over to support Treaty as there was senior soccer in Limerick again.

It was a good run

Was considering rocking up to the UCD Bowl for the second leg. Might give it a miss.

Tell JP to get the checkbook out lads

There’s surplus cash now Shane O’Neill is off the payroll.

A disappointing result on a cold, cold night in the Market’s Field.

An uncharacteristic howler from Tadhg Ryan gave UCD the lead when Treaty had been the better side up until that. Dean George missed the one really really good chance we created; I thought Barrett was very slow to get McSweeney & Armshaw on tbh, we seriously lacked creativity and UCD were well set-up, happy to let our centre-backs have it, and we struggled to play through the middle.

Collie Whelan was their standout player and he got two goals in the last 10/15 mins to seal the victory. 3-0 a bit harsh and pretty much makes it impossible to qualify; you’d have fancied your chances at 1-0.

David Clifford was one of the 2500+ in attendance.

Too soon for them really. Tommy said as much. They’ve nowhere near the structures required for the Premier yet

that’s been the way with Tommy Barrets teams forever, superbly organised but he is a bit negative. I suppose he has to be, but it’s always been how he sets his teams up… don’t lose first.

He would make a fine TFK poster.
