He wouldn’t come—//// yet

He upsets everyone. Short term manager

He’d get them up though. That’s all they need at the minute

They couldn’t afford him presently

Best manager in my estimation categorically said unless CCFC is run as a business and not by FORAS it’ll go nowhere

Strong hint that he won’t return under the L present circumstances, who’d blame him
He brought us pride -cups .
Swagger , put Dundalk in their place where no other team in Ireland could and they stabbed him in the back
Brutus didn’t do a job as good as the CCFC board

He isn’t the easiest man to deal with

Loved in Avondale utd- respected, hard to pls yes

When he was in charge of us no fuckin boozing etc
Within weeks of his departure there were physical fights in town, cocaine use in clubs, laziness etc- team fell apart

He physically confronted me at the one Friday night, actually jumped the wall :blush::blush:fella behind our group was in his ear for the whole first half- “ caulfield ya prick make the fuckin changes etc etc”
It was pointed out to him at tbe break that he made a mistake and got it wrong completely
Fair fucks to the man - stepped over and apologised in front of everyone

Played against his avondale side. Serious outfit. An old buddy of mine said he was a fearsome man. Wouldn’t tolerate half an effort in a warm up even

He got it right a little demon- good Junior Cork footballer aswell
Goid game tomorrow night UCC v Cork senior hurlers- mardyke

The current under 19 Avondale team is a serious outfit and should be adding to a current depleted Avondale senior next season
We beat Carrigaline ( destroyed them and did likewise to college Corinthians lately)

I wish Joe the best of luck but he’d do well to keep the head down.

Tommy Barrett is the right man to keep him grounded.
