Would take a really good set up to get the right junior players at the right age to commit. I’d say twould nearly want to be fulltime and all the lads on 600 or 700 a week plus, then they can study and do other stuff around it too. Done right, it would succeed.
you’d have to pay them more than they’re getting off Pike and Fairview etc first on top of their jobs… the best junior players will never play in the 1st division, travelling up to Donegal of a day etc.

That’s it like, there’s some young fellas with a very nice set up work wise, possibly a young family, playing at a good level for proud clubs with history. Fellas would have to be really looked after.
