Treaty United 2023

the club is only a week old!

I would say not a chance. a load of young fellas have no junior football thus year so its a chance for them to get a run with a team and maybe get signed by a prem club or get a deal like jaze kabia did with livingstone…he was at cobh 2 years ago if fellas remember…so its a way of getting out there…

youd need your absolute head examined to invest in a LOI club…you are guaranteed unless you are maybe dundalk this year 0 return and will only take on debt…
like if those lads are being paid its a charitable contribution they are getting…and would be maybe 100 150 a game

Hard to see anyone stopping us this year.

Tis like the Cork city b team

I’ve only heard of three of them.
One of those is still on my blacklist for costing us a county minor title

Different Sean McSweeney, this lad is from Foynes afaik but @TreatyStones will confirm.

It is the Foynes Sean McSweeney, who did most recently appear as a Limerick footballer, but not the kierans Sean McSweeney (who is or was in Oz).

Did he?? This year? Oh was it he that got a goal against Tipp?? Apologies @Aristotle

Yeah this is the fella who was playing for St. Senan’s this year. He scored 5 or 6 against us in the county quarter-final.

I remember he scored an unbelievable chip away to Cabinteely in 2016. I thought he looked really good that season but seemed to fall out of favour then.

The bould Pat is still going :grinning:

  1. Mark Walsh, playing first team junior football with Nenagh Celtic since he was 15, very good at that level too. Never really committed to Athlone in his single season there, a home bird.
