Trouble in Cork Hurling Camp?

I hear Jimmy Barry has fallen out with Ger Cunningham with Donal Og up to his tricks again over John Gardiner been dropped off the panel. Sad to see Cork hurling in such a state.

Setup is a complete shambles again. FFS.
Donal Og has nothing to do with this. Himself anf TK are showing great loyality to hang in there when everyone who can is jumping ship with zero chnce of any success.JBM was the right man in the right place last time with an exceptional crop of underage players blooded early. This time the younger players, bye and large, aren’t remotely good enough. Cork hurling at its lowest ebb in living memory.

Don’t know about that. Heard there was a clear the air meeting between Jimmy Barry and Ger arranged but Cunningham arrived with Donal Og and Dr Con so Jimmy Barry walked out of the meeting.

What!?!? You’re fucking kidding me? Trouble in the Cork hurling camp? What?!?!

I heard JBM chinned Ger Cunningham.

See, its that easy.

Not these attention seeking Cork cunts again.

Ah tremendous altogether. Sure you’d miss the oul Cork strike every year.

Eoin Cadogan has opted for Gaelic Football only, for this season anyway

Welcome to last week

Ah jaysus mate, catch up. That news is a week old now.

If, as rumoured, Cusack has been told he is no longer first choice JBM should have dropped him off the panel. An ego like Cusack won’t be happy on the bench, he needs the oxygen of attention.

That’s Sweetnam, Cahalane, Cadogan, Gardiner, O’hAilpin and Niall McCarthy gone from last years panel which is a fair old turnaround. Aidan Walsh, Ciaran Sheehan and even Colm O’Neill wouldn’t be far off the the team if they were available too.

plenty about a fall out on the PROC site.

whether there is anything to it or not is another matter.

I thought Cork did exceptionally well last year given the hand they had to play.

If they turn on JBM as well down there day day to them there is no pleasing them.

The record they have at minor level is deplorable. Any sign of a minor team coming that could win or get to an all ireland final? That would help lift morale

No.

fuck turenne. that aint good news. what are the youth of Cork doing that a minor team cannot emerge? rugby, soccer, gaelic football, playstation, drugs?? surely with all them GAA clubs, big towns there should be a good minor team coming?

Please don’t be upsetting Turenne, kerry1891.

The coaching in the schools is all over the shop, especially around east cork

You’d miss Kev on these threads. He was forever bemoaning the poor structures in minor hurling. Whatever the reasons they are well off the pace.

Is rugger a factor in the city? A lot of Blackrock and Douglas GAA lads end up in the rugger schools.

even allowing for the quality of schools coaching you would think the clubs would develop good enough players???
