The Segunda had easily established itself as being at the absolute forefront of TFKNFLFF and I’m sad to leave it. I’ve never heard of half of the posters in the Turds.
I don’t think this is change for change’s sake. I believe it to be a genuine effort to reinvigorate the other ailing leagues. Like the NFL realignment of 2002, when the Colts were fucked out of the AFC East, Carolina got to play in a division where they weren’t travelling a few thousand miles for every away game and Seattle got the road from the AFC entirely, this can have a positive effect on the game.
The Segunda has most to lose, for sure, but I believe most of my erstwhile GM colleagues are reasonable men of fortitude and practicality. For this reason the Gravy Bombs franchise, a founding member of The Segunda, and which was on the point of dissolution, is prepared to consider new options.
I am also willing to let my name go forward, along with @croppy_boy, as a member of the task force.
