Turns of Phrase

I don’t know why but that reminds me of a teacher I had that used to pronounce iron as you would when saying irony. Bizarre.

A poster on the Limerick thread reckoned Kilmallock would have “the grit between their teeth”.

While I don’t doubt that an awful lot of kilmallock people would have grit between their teeth I don’t think that was the point that the poster was trying to convey.
