TV Rights, best avoided

Two big quarter finals in fairness.

Sidney said no one would watch the club games on rte. Looks like he was wrong.

I didn’t say no one, pal

That would have been absurd

That’s a great viewership. Well worth persevering with if they’re getting viewership like that regularly

There’s definitely an audience for good club games at this time of year. The problem is which one to pick.

Yes, there’s generally fuck all on TV at that time on a Saturday either. Looks like @Sidney was blinded by his bias against club GAA

ok guys, @Perez2017 has given an incorrect figure

Club games these days are generally better games to watch than most county games tbf.

Problem is weather is crap at this time of year. Doesn’t help. Also can’t understand why club matches are played in county grounds like thurles, gaelic grounds etc when if the matches were played in tight grounds like nenagh you would have a much bigger crowd and would also look better on tv.

129,000 mate. Read it earlier.

I’ve slagged off the decision to televise county quarter finals on here, but in fairness the two games I have seen on RTÉ (one each of the Cork & Kilkenny quarter finals) were of a pretty decent standard.

129,000 is fairly poor for a Saturday evening I’d guess?

Im not disputing what you read but I have the correct figures and you have overstated this

please refrain from posting unverified figures in future

What club games have RTE next weekend ??

County games are generally a lot better to watch, mate

Looks like @Perez2017 was lying to try and make it appear he was right when he was actually wrong

I hate dishonest posters

They are a plague on this forum and mods need to intervene

I’d say it’s at least triple whatever RTE usually have in that time slot

This is Ireland

The weather is always crap

Post them then mate.
