TV Rights, best avoided

Sorry @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy ye are just shy with the soccer game. You’d need to adjust up the 6N numbers as well sure half the country can’t get tv3

all TV viewing figures are 15 plus mate

it is like with like

:smirk::smirk::smirk:

Rugby fans would generally be ABC1 social strata and watch TV via legitimate means. The IPTV boys watching soccer and bogball won’t be captured by the official viewing figures.

Fuckit biff that’s an awful thing to say.

England soccer team as much as i loathe them are a much bigger deal in Ireland than the Irish rugby team.

Great news. Tommy Martyn, Kerr, Delaney and Kinsella are top notch.

The Champions League isn’t worth a wank until the knock outs unless an English team are in trouble

In your face stick hockey.

There’s something very special about those September/October nights watching Champions League Group games in a pub with multiple screens where you can be focusing on Dortmund vs Real Madrid on one TV, but can quickly turn around to see Bayer Leverkuson score a penalty away at Roma on another.

All with 2 large bottles of Bulmers and a packet of O’Donnell’s Cheese and Onion crisps.

Club association football from July to the October bank holiday weekend is incredibly depressing.

I wouldn’t call it depressing but I agree it doesn’t really matter.

What I’m talking about is the relaxed vibe in a pub on a Wednesday night when there may only be about 7 people there (who mightn’t even know each other) talking rameis about the prospective chances of Atletico Madrid or Porto this season.

The Mount Pleasant Inn was great in this regard.

@Little_Lord_Fauntleroy will need to adjust TV figures going forward to account for Raul and Santos tuning in from Vigo.

Five lives games per weekend plus a weekly show with James Richardson :ronnyroar:
