Tv Shows & Mini Series (Part 1)

Zoobie Zoobie doo is what I’m singing after watching the first episode of Mad men last night.

Megan Fox is an appropriate title.

Great to have it on the box again. Megan would get it

Game of Thrones returned last night and is available at all good outlets. Looking forward to getting to watch it tonight.

Going to wait until tonight to watch it, presumably it will be one of those introductory ‘here are all the new characters’ episodes with not a massive amount of progression.

What channell is it on? Game of Thrones that being.

I’m liking Homeland a lot, watched the latest episode last night which was again very good.

SKY Atlantic tonight. Homeland is class.

Don’t have sky atlantic, recommend another channell please.

Canal +

Cheers

Any opinions of tonight’s GoT episode?

Just watched it. The scenes involving Robb, Joffrey and Stannis (the beach scene was brilliant) were excellent. The last five minutes will probably confuse the fuck out of non-book readers, you really need to be paying attention every second to get what is going on. Actually large parts of the episode will confuse the fuck out of non-book readers.

Apparently the second episode is already on torrents.

You might not be far off here. Absolutely tremendous TV though, I was afraid as I said before here, but all doubts put to bed within minutes of the opening.

GOT was very good last night, the young King is a “class act” to quote P Flynn.

Further to the Mad Men S05 opener, Jessica Paré was in the underrated Hot Tub Time Machine and her baps are out there to be seen for those who may be interested in seeing them.

Zou Bisou Bisou indeed.

Have you read the books and if not, are you able to follow it along fine?

The Irish lad who plays Joffrey is damn good.

Never read the books but read a website with all the back story and lay of the land which really helped. The new character Stanis last night wasn’t a surprise to me whereas if I hadn’t known about him I’d be lost tbh.

ah hear… spoilers…

Yeah SO, you would really need to do some research or have someone explaining things to you as you go along. With this in mind, its quite remarkable that it has been so popular.

I got through the first series without having read the books and was grand, but yea, I can imagine how it could be difficult from here given how the cast just explodes.
