Tv Shows & Mini Series (Part 1)

Have you ever watched Diagnosis Murder?
It’s a bad version of Murder She Wrote but with Dick Van Dyke and his son.[/QUOTE]

I watch the odd episode of Diagnosis Murder, it is far superior to Murder She Wrote, except for the fact that Richard Van Dyke(Dick’s son) is by far and away the worst actor of all time…

Theres a blast from the past, awful scutter.

Richard? You lying whore…

Barry Van Dyke as Detective Steve Sloan. Pure useless though, I agree.

Was it Barry, don’t know what made me think it was Richard, he was a big ugly brute as well

There’s a new series starting on Bravo tonight at 10pm. Sons Of Anarchy is the name of it, spotted a few ads this week about it.
It’s from the makers of the Shield so should be decent enough. The lad that plays Hellboy in those films is in it, think it’s about a biker gang, might be a bit of craic. I’ll set the dvd recorder for the first episode tonight anyway and see what it’s like.

Reaper is in good form lately, harmless fare, but decent popcorn tv.

Watched episodes 11 and 12 of Dollhouse. 12 is the series finale.

They are quite good and do their best to fix the mess that was the other 10 episodes. They fulfil some of the potential of the show but I still felt like there were a couple of huge plot holes and that they played a lot of the cards they had been keeping for future series in a rushed attempt to get the show back on track.

I still wouldn’t be surprised if it was cut.

I’ll take a look but it wouldnt be anything more than background noise as I was throwing together a risotto or the like.

Lost is in flying fooking form at the moment. Its utter bananas but fook it I’m hooked.

Lads ye have to get watching Breaking Bad.

Just watched the second last episode of the 2nd series. Twas on in America on Sunday. That episode was d-a-r-k .

Set and produced in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a struggling high school chemistry teacher with a teenage son who has cerebral palsy (RJ Mitte), and a pregnant wife, Skyler (Anna Gunn). When the already tense White is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, he breaks down and turns to a life of crime, and starts producing and selling methamphetamine with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) in a desire to secure his family’s financial future.

Watch it, ye won’t be disappointed. It’s probably is the best pilot I have ever seen. The first series is excellent and while the second series at the beginning was struggling to keep pace with the previous high standards the last few episodes have been deadly.

Havent tried that. Have started off on Season 1 of Supernatural and am currently picking up on Smallville at Season 5.

Tough going this TV watching.

Smallville is only worth it for the birds.

ER is the best show on television, got into it last summer when More4 used to show old episodes at 2 pm…Fucking superb television

And what birds they are.

I’m also a bit of a Superman head so its intersting to see what they do with the mythology.

Fell out of love with er a long time ago. Was always sorry i did. Might go back to it at some point.

They take it and shit all over it.

Halfway through S05 and I’d agree with that.

However I also liked what The Sarah Connor Chronicles did with the Terminator mythology so I’m open to new takes on old ideas.

Weeds is back on in the States, still to watch first episode, the one I DL’d has a shit soundtrack to it so grabbing another torrent.

Weeds is class.

Started watching Lie to Me with Robert Carlyle. Must say 5 eps in, and I’m a fan, nice little premise and he plays it really well. Think there might also be more to this that the normal villain of the week thing. Time will tell.

Meant to add how am still watching Rescue Me which is excelling itself as always, with a loop around backstory now going back to Tommy’s cousin and 9/11, all brought about by the appearance of a French journo. Nice lil premise.

Tommy’s missus is looking fooking fantastic these days too and has a mouth on her like a tinker. Love it.

This is for MBB despite him slagging me yesterday…

Play have a collectors edition Band of brothers on blue ray for 35 euros at moment. Limited stock. Bullets whizzing by are pretty special.

You got the standard welcome around here, if you hadn’t gotten it then it would be time to be afraid.

I download everything, stick it onto my HD, top quality pictures.

No offence, but Blu Ray can suck my knob.
