Eastbound and Down came to an end at the weekend, a poor final season with a shameful tying up of all the loose ends in hte final episode. It deserved better than its last season, but it was always going to be difficult keep up the mentalness of season one for three whole seasons. Two parts I did love from last night were the opening sequence with Seth Rogen and the inspiring prayer with Matthew McConnaughey. Gone for good now, but some good memories, not least Will Ferrells lunatic car salesman.
I think my favourite bit came from the episode I was most fervently critical of…
Terrible ending episode alright. I though it had picked up a little until then.
I cant speak highly enough of McConnaughey’s final prayer though, all it was missing was him and Kenny taking their shurts (sic) off
Decided to go back to torrents, currently on torlock, demonoid, what.cd and karagarga - anything else?
I’ve started using them as well. Much easier than I remember. I’ve mainly used isohunt and I installed Vuze for managing them. Very straightforward.
I use utorrent and eztv for tv.
I have 1 IPTorrents invite remaining for a lucky TFK member. PM me your email address if interested.
What is the deal with IPTorrents?
Yeah I’m just using bittorrent, I remember Vuze being a huge resource hog.
Private torrent sites with good quality torrents at great speeds.
Does it have niche stuff Totti? Like difficult to find TV/Music/Movies etc.
It’s more mainstream but it does have a pretty expansive library.
New HBO series ‘Girls’ started last week in How to Make it in America’s slot, unsurprisingly it’s set a show set in New York. Judd Apatow of Freaks and Geeks is behind it. Watched the pilot and it was decent.
Just noticed this on the Guardian about it also:

They replaced How to Make it in America with shit like that?
FFS.
After a long delay I finally got around to watching the first episode of Season 1 of Damages last night. Very good. Anyone watched any of it?
Arrested Development plans look to be finally set in stone now. They’re making a new season (10 episodes I think) this summer which will be released all at the same time on Netflix (and presumably torrent sites) in 2013. Then they’re making the movie straight after.
I have it. Never watched it. One of those on the “To Watch” list that never happens.
Heard it’s good alright.
I watched it and thought it was quite good. Only watched two episodes of season 2 and got bored with it and haven’t watched since. I have quite a fancy for Rose Byrne as well.
The latest episode of GoT could very well be the most graphic hour of tv you’re ever likely to see. Unbelievable, even for HBO.
How so pal? I’m trying to remember the books here, is this the red lady at work ?
Correct and Dragonstone is shown. Unbelievably gruesome.
