Industry is brillunt. This season was excellent
It all feels less far fetched now doesnāt it
Good show. The 2nd episode of this series almost lost me though was fucking stupid
Small Prophets is a nice auld watch
Scrubs revival seems to be getting good reviews
To answer myself, Manifest is shite.
āThe Night Ofā¦ā on HBO. Cracking show. A framed Shaws Almost Nationwide Limerick jersey appears in episode 7 in what I guess might be a bar with Limerick connections in NYC.
I watched an episode of Accused by Jimmy McGovern over the weekend.
It was called Tracieās Story.
Itās from around 2012.
Sean Bean plays a trans woman. A brilliant performance.
Enjoyed that season of Industry - sets up for the next one and prob finale. Yas is some tramp just like her old man
Fuck her
It wonāt be the same without Eric
Half way through the Pitt. People being tubed up is at three in six hours. Two deaths.
Why was Sean Bean cast in The Field I wonder? His accent is shocking, donāt know where heās aiming it
I was just thinking that myself.
He was awful yet clearly a very good actor,
One of the worst casting decisions of all time.
Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher beats it hands down
I missed that one Thank God
I stumbled across southland on Netflix this weekend.
Kind of made up of short jagged scenes similar to nypd blue, though obviously thereās no novelty to that anymore. Plot lines are likewise not particularly new.
Still though, interesting characters and well put together imho.
Southland is excellent ā¦almost 20 years old id say the plots were not as well worn at that point
I think Jim Sheridan was on the Late Late Show or something like that promoting The Field and was asked why they cast Bean as Tadgh.
He explained that they were having trouble casting the part as they were looking for a big, quiet, type lad that looked bullied by the father type character. Then one night he got a phone call from the casting director, saying, " Turn on RTE1 quick". Bean was on TV looking the part in some show or other and they both agreed that he was the ideal lad for the part.
I wonder what Irish actor at the time could have gotten it.
