Was disappointed with the ending and how they set up a potential second series. But the first 7.5 episodes were very good.

He did a reboot of Perry Mason a few years ago which I enjoyed. It was slow paced and grim as fuck set in depression hit 1930s US, but he carried the show.
Watched the first season of Vigil with the other half over the past few nights.
About a murder onboard a British navy submarine off the coast of Scotland and is full of twists and turns. Easy enough watch that ticks along at a decent pace.
Watched the first episode of âThis City is Oursâ on RTE last night. Bit like Kin made in Liverpool. Wasnât a bad first episode and iâll give it a go.
It got a bad review from Ed Power in the IT.
I think heâs expecting too much from these things.

Colin From Accounts excellent again, binged the whole season
How are they banging these out so quick, must be a new season for TV every Autumn now. I know they are only six episodes but still itâs a fair undertaking to have it all scripted, casted, filmed, edited etc. on yearly basis.
Has it gotten any better? I gave up at the start of season 3. The story lines are very predictable and cliched⌠aside from Oldman it was poor i thought after a good season 1
Fuck knows but they seem to film they two seasons at a go back to back?
Anyway the main actor is supposed to be the new Bond, so who knows what will happen to the show.
There are nine books in the series and they are quite good. Each tv series is more or less based on one book, with a few plot variations. There is an element of repetition in reminding you every time how useless the Slow Horses are and the underhand dealings if M15. People watch it for Gary Oldman.
