When any of the sikh lads I know starts a bottle (always good tack), they finish it. They expect you to do the same.

By Jaysus they drink alright. I’ve been at a couple of sikh weddings. Always a litre of single malt on every table.

This internet would suggest we are both right. The Sikh religion bans alcohol, while at the same time the community has a well documented problem with alcoholism.
The main problem they seem to have with alcohol is they can’t get it down their neck quick enough.
