The minor isnāt named though, surely it would be the same for Mendyās victims. Seems strange, we knew Adam Johnsonās name well in advance.
Sigurdsson must have a serious legal team.
Iām not sure thatās true re. Johnson. If you recall Sunderland kept playing him long after he was first arrested and charged and I donāt think the public were aware at that time

Sigurdsson was arrested and charged and is out on bail. He has never been named publicly in media outlets that Iām aware of.

Johnson was the first high profile conviction of an active footballer I can remember.
I think he played on for months after his arrest, you generally expect these guys to get away with it but I think you knew he was in deep doo doo when Sunderland suspended him. Same with Mendy, I fully expect he will go down for what he has been charged with as there seems to be multiple allegations.
