This years minors were probably the weakest in both codes for a long time, even allowing for the change to u17, so I don’t see a whole lot coming thru for a while yet to be honest. I think this under 21 side will be the last ones we see competing at the business end for a while.

Was great to see lads being subbed that weren’t putting it in. Hauled Hughes and Bletheen off sharpish after they fucked up. Fahy, Burke and Cooney look the most promising prospects. The goalie is a good shot stopper but a disaster with ball in hand whether from puckouts or general play. Still don’t know how they managed to win it.
