you would be hoping so and with a successful outcome too

19 when he won All Star in '96, so 41 I’d say. Remarkably dragged Ballingarry to 2 county minor titles. Not everyone’s cuppa I believe due to a spiky personality, but clearly a decent manager. Toome’s Mikey Bevans apparently a top class coach

Did he transfer to Sars later in his career or was that someone else I’m thinking of - I know Mick Cahill the cb did too but nearly sure there was another Cahill

Mickey Cahill was always Sars, Liam Cahill did transfer to them, won a county with them and transferred back.

Is he not from Clonmel? M Cahill

Mikey O Brien you’re thinking of

That was a good Ballingarry team tbf. Had William Maher and a few other county lads

Galway GAA collapsing like a deck of cards.

Looks like all that financial doping they are benefiting from in Connacht is having minimal impact.

Shocking performance last night in fairness, brainless over-rated players and a stupid spoofing clown of a manager who didn’t know how to overcome the opposition going a man down early in the 2nd half. And to think the supporters still think they have a chance of getting past AEK in the second leg.

By far the most successful county in the GAA this year despite having a fraction of the finances and population of your own county.

Dublin is not in Connacht, Mike.

Galway are the most successful county in the country in GAA this year. Dublin should be with all the resources at their disposal.

Dublin are champions of the football league, the all -Ireland club stick hurling and are in the semis of the football. Not a bad return for a county where GGA games are the 5th or 6th most popular amongst the population.

What have Galway won this year?.

You tell me. You were the one that said our success was minimal.

Are you backtracking from this, Mike?

Absolutely not. Back up your statement that this so-called financial doping is having minimal impact.

Galway hoover up the overwhelming majority of money attributed in Connacht GGA and have had a poor return for this investment.

Can you furnish me with a list of titles Galway won this year? You just claimed they are the most successful county in GGA this year, shouldn’t be too hard for you to back this up.
