This is turning out to be a decent competition this year. There’s some very good sides left too and that was a big win for Sevilla after extra time against Shakhtar. The Alkmaar-Newcastle game was on in the background in the pub. Duff was hauled off after 60 minutes and was apparently awful again.

Sevilla - Tottenham should be a great game. I would fancy Sevilla to turn Spurs over in this one. And a Bremen v Sevilla final would be the best outcome.
Are the fixtures for the semis done already, a-la Champions league?
Also Sevilla’s win over Donetsk had a positive implication for Celtic. Ukraine were in-line to overtake Scotland in the UEFA co-efficients if Shakhtar had progressed so now Scotland will be in 10th place from next season and the winners of the SPL next season will go straight into the group stages of the CL. (Not the case for next season by the way when Celtic will enter at the final qualifying round).
