UEFA Nations League - Republic of Ireland vs Denmark - Republic of Ireland vs Wales

are we all happy that Harry Arthur has come back?

Yes indeed the only positive outcome today. Arry is a top lad.

never going to happen, its simply not in the Oisish dna which is why Eire is not a serious soccer nation and never will be

Brexit will sort a lot of this shit out. The English lads will change their tune when they have to get their passports stamped to jump over.

There’s more lads playing for Ireland that were born in a different continent than were born in Connaught

‘There’s a lot of crybabies out there’ - Roy Keane says players need to get on with it despite manager rows

“We talk about footballers and managers, not every player is going to get on with the manager, the manager is not going to like every player,” Keane told Notts TV. “But what you do as a footballer, and whatever disagreements I’ve had with one or two managers, when you cross that line, you play for your team."

“When you walk out on that pitch, you’re playing for your pride, you’re playing for your family, you’re playing for your city, whatever it may be. Don’t get that worried about what the manager said about you or the coaching staff. You get out there and play.

For Fuck Sake.

Christ, double for Fuck Sake.

For the last 30 years a large chunk of the Eire soccer team’s entire relationship with the country was flying in for ROI camps.

At least their parents or grandparents were born here.

CJ Stander and Bundee Aki didn’t even know where Ireland was on a map when they were contacted by the IRFU

Roy keane was a traitor who feigned injury on several occasions to get out of playing for Eire, it speaks volumes for the status of scummy soccer that keane is the authority within that sport on what constitutes a good professional scummy soccer player.

“At least”

How do people get anywhere in the first place. Do you hate immigrants?

You’re a gas man… their salary is linked to playing with Ireland in rubby is it not?

They’re immigrants to Ireland who now qualify after having lived here for 5 years.

They contribute everyday to the country and lay down roots here, but you chaps are happy with the Oirish flying over for a couple of days here and there.

you make it sound like they decided to come over and give it a lash in Ireland.

They were contacted by the IRFU, given houses, big contracts and cars to play Rugby.

As soon as their careers with the IRFU are over they’ll be off back home with their roots and money.

That’s fine but they came here for the cash, not to enhance Ireland, as the IRFU have a policy where you have to play for their teams----

The situation is fluid.

they are immigrants, who are you to decide who and what immigrants qualify to enter this country?
