UEFA Nations League

“I support northern ireland because the british government give us a lot of grants for pitcthes”

GAA take a lot of the blame here alright, because they have been so successful funding their own infrastructure there seems to be a belief in the south that all sports infrastructure should be funded by club lottos and raffles. The only role the state seems to think it has in funding ‘sports’ is in keeping the horses and dogs going.

And if that means the ‘pitch’ for the new school with 1000 pupils is a grass field with a slope and a set of goalposts at either end well so be it.

Why are England playing at a training ground?

Antnee Gordon is the best player in Europe right now

7-0 . Some hammering

This Nations league is a big upgrade on the old friendly windows. You’d have to hand it to UEFA

Wtf is Modric at, retire ta fuck

It really is. It’s up there with the new gaelic football rules, the all Ireland championship structure and the new champions league format as things that got absolutely ridiculed but turned out great.

Spain-Czechia has been a rollicking good second half.

It’s been a cracking idea. The friendless used to be 11 subs at halftime there for a while

Love him but I want to kill him

Dembele and Akiolouche, two rangy lefties who tend to dwell on the ball and Kounde down the right who is a bit of a mullocker on the ball, dynamics of the attack aren’t great but France can easily still win this.

Some Belgian lad has just produced an outrageous dive on the stroke of half time.

Cherki, Olise, DaCunha have changed it
