The gas thing is that Davis has been by far the Tories’ least worst performer on the campaign.
That’s an utterly damning indictment of the performance of the rest of the their front bench.

Fake news. The audience was chosen by polling company ComRes based on their polling, which has been much more favourable to the Tories than YouGov and others have been.
So arguably the audience was Tory-biased.
