He’s decrying Starmer for not openly supporting the strikers. If Starmer does, he will be pasted as a militant by the Tory MSM, and personally blamed for every missed tube journey and the country grinding to a halt. The fact that he was so close with a far more leftwing agenda than has been seen in decades shows that the received wisdom that such an agenda is impossible nowadays is incorrect. Whatever about the merits of his agenda he wasn’t far off winning and if he hadn’t had all the media lined up against him to a pretty ridiculous degree he’d probably have won.
Nah. He got lucky with circumstances. He could still play both sides on Brexit so kept the Red Wall and May had a disaster of a campaign.

I had a city tour there once and the guide explained that there’s too many buildings listed. They can’t knock them and the owners or potential buyers haven’t the money to refurbish them. What use is a two or three story house in the city centre to a developer? Not much.
