No. The Tories have the overwhelming majority of the English press behind them. IRA smears etc. Much of the English people are hell bent on self-destruction through Brexit and were immovable from the Tories this time.
He’s also suffered from the opposition within his own party. Had the Blairites got behind him there’s no knowing what Labour could have done this time.
If Labour do get in or around 266, his position is likely secure and the Blairites will have no choice to get behind him.
A Tory minority government is a very good outcome for Labour electorally with a view to winning a majority next time.
And if that is the case, the next time will likely be a lot sooner than 2022.
Going to be fascinating to see the turnout and the turnout among younger demographics.
