Great guts by Monaghan but Armagh let them back in from a position where they had the game in their pockets. Big game experience told. You have to keep going for your scores. That chance Kelly had should have been straight over the bar. Would have put Armagh two up. Instead Monaghan dispossessed Armagh and worked it down for the equaliser.

I hope Armagh stick with McGeeney. Hard to argue if he is given the shove but Armagh are now getting to where they want to be.

The sort of match where the space available on the terraces would have made for a lovely back and forth goading dynamic. It only takes one loudmouth to set it all off. Terrace loudmouths are under appreciated.
