French Rugby Federation have acted to reduce the number of “voluntary” uncontested scrums by introducing a rule that when a team has to choose uncontested scrums (when they have no fit front row player) then they have to play with 14 players as a result. Decent move IMO.
Good move. Should put a stop to a lot of the play acting…
good move…especially as the irb are trying to dumb down the scrum and maul for some strange reason…
