Depends where you are really. Some countries have shit pubs.

Belgium is the best country on earth for beer and pubs.

Ireland has pubs but no real drink . Tho this is improving.

Unpopular opinion: life is essentially meaningless and pointless because we all end up dead anyway, and when you’re dead you’ve no awareness and no ability to make meaning (well, very likely). You’re a permanently deleted file. All attempts at manufacturing meaning are temporary and pointless because life is temporary and pointless. There’s no meaning to be made out of three year old children being bombed to death. There’s no meaning to be made out of an out of control car crushing a person against a wall in a supermarket car park. There’s no meaning to be made out of pain and suffering, or pleasure. There’s no meaning to be made out of genocide. There’s no meaning to be made out of living for 70 years on a small planet in a universe so vast we don’t know how far it extends, or for how billion years it has existed.

My pal watched a friendly the other night between UCG and salthill. Salthill had a midfielder who just looked head and shoulders above anyone else, which is rare. She put a 65 an absolute mile over the bar.

I always try to be happy. That’s the key.

I also try not impinge on other peoples what of life.

You’d see lads constantly at it on here. Running down other peoples interests or hobbies.
