Mescal is good in Hamnet

My opinion, probably unpopular, is that the whole Hamnet project is pretty shite, not a good book, not a good movie, I’m genuinely baffled at what reviewers see in it, the actors are good but Buckleys role is a cliche as an Oscar nomination by now, spiritual grieving woman, ticks the boxes

He had a great chance as an oscar for hamnet for best supporting role

Gladiator 2 was a huge role

A massive role he did well in and well to survive. A completely inconsequential money grab of a movie with absolutely nothing to say.

I don’t think there’s anything special about Irish beef, I’ve often had the equivalent or sometimes better abroad

In saying that I do support local butchers

What lovely about the beef abroad is probably the drugs pumped into it

Like those Huge steaks (horse meat) you get in Turkey

Irish beef is nearly exclusively grass fed. Not sure if much other countries have as high of a grass fed percentage.

Big beef circling the wagons here quickly.

I’ll join in.

What’s so special about grass?

I’d have a theory that all those actors are weirdos.

Trying to come out with populist nonsense then blaming the gubberment when they couldnt give a fuck about this country.

It’s the animal’s natural diet and hence the beef has more nutrients etc than more artificial corn fed practices.

It’s unprocessed for starters. I would be far from an expert but apparently if you are used to meat, butter milk etc from factory fed animals related on nuts and ration then the difference is unmistakable

The shit chocolate taste abroad is a good example of how our milk is that much better

Can this be fact checked

Go nuts mate.

80% of a cows diet is grass fed

Of that 60% is grazed

But that’s exactly what I am used to and I don’t think our beef is any better than what you’d get elsewhere, beef in England, France, Aus/NZ, and USA is much the same, I won’t comment on South America

It’s pretty straightforward. That green stuff you see the cows standing on in the fields?

That’s grass mate. Spend enough time looking at them and you’ll see them eating it.

Yes. And cows get 48% of theor food from it

Grass fed beef is leaner but it can be tougher.

I’d wager if we served up two steaks to lads on here - one from Ireland and one from Brazil - in a blind taste test they’d struggle to tell them apart.
