Thatās exactly it. Add in a few measures of appealing to the basest instincts of people, legitimising racism, misogyny and outright stupidity and you have this.
I still find it amazing that the best America could come up with were these two. But then, Iām probably still in denial about the last Bush presidency, such that it was.
