What have the Republicans done to stop Russian interference in 2020, @anon7035031?

Nunes has gone to hide in the jacks

Sidney has been calling the end for Trump since a week after he was elected :grinning:

He’s gone stone mad.

I’d say he has the equivalent of this murder board on his bedroom wall with a load of post-it notes, diagrams, arrows and shit.

@Sidney has tagged me about 20 times in the past 24 hours and claims I’m the one who doesn’t have a sex life.

Are you counting sheep there, mate?

That way you can brush up on your maths and get some sexual kicks at the same time

Sixteen (16) times to be specific.

Go get a ride for yourself mate, it might at least delay your descent into total madness.

You counted 16 sheep?

Was that a reference to your sexual conquests or a reference to the amount of Republicans you can spot on camera at these impeachment hearings?

Totally mad.

Yeah they are, aren’t they

I mean how mad do you have to be to try and sue a parody INTERNET cow for €250m

Mad as Devin Nunes, who did

Sure even a stopped clock is right twice a day

I’ve in fact been saying the opposite for the last couple of years

I certainly have been calling for the end of Trump

The Republican party have hijacked the political and electoral systems as well as the judiciary to such an extent and the effect of Russian interference is extremely significant, so the US runs the risk of sliding into a Hungary type situation, which would mean the effective end of democracy and Republican/Russian rule for the foreseeable future

The response to Trump from within politics, the media and the judiciary has not been near strong enough

These hearings and the 2020 election are the last chances for democracy in the US

If they fail to remove Trump, and that is highly doubtful, the US is in for a world of pain and a descent into full blown kleptocracy, and it is already going through that

Of course none of this suits the narrative of the clueless posters here

Facts rarely suit the clueless

Nunes just implicitly admitted the Trump regime is corrupt

And so is he

Ukrainian MP Serhey Leschenko spilled the beans on Paul Manafort’s criminality in Ukraine

This was highly credible information

Manafort is now in jail in the US for criminality there

Nunes tried to spin Leschenko’s whistle blowing as biased interference

It was called exposing criminality

Which Nunes hates

The Russian takeover of the US right-wing is complete

For a minute there I thought it was Derek McGrath.

Trump calls Trudeau ‘two-faced’ after Canadian leader mocks him

December 4 2019, 5:00pm, The Times

Donald Trump calls Justin Trudeau “two-faced”

Donald Trump hit out at the Canadian prime minister for being “two-faced” and departed the Nato leaders’ meeting without conducting his scheduled press conference.

The US president cancelled his media briefing at the last minute, saying he had already conducted “so many” sessions with journalists during his three-day visit to Britain. His withdrawal emerged after he rebuked Justin Trudeau for mocking him with other world leaders at a Buckingham Palace reception last night.

A video clip from the event, which showed the Canadian prime minister laughing about Mr Trump with Boris Johnson, Emmanuel Macron, the French president, the Dutch leader, Mark Rutte, and Princess Anne, went viral on social media.

Holding court in the blue drawing room of the palace, Mr Trudeau regaled his audience with an account of Mr Trump’s day, which he did not appear to realise was being captured both on a nearby microphone and a TV camera across the room. Mr Johnson could be heard then asking Mr Macron: “Is that why you were late?”

Mr Trudeau replied: “He was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top. Oh, yah, yah, yah, he announced . . . [inaudible] You just watched his team’s jaws drop to the floor.” He was referring to Mr Trump’s press conference, which was scheduled to last just five minutes, extending for nearly 50 minutes.

The US president hit back today, labelling Mr Trudeau disingenuous and accusing him of gossiping because he had been challenged about Canada’s failure to meet the minimum defence spending required of Nato members.

Mr Trump said: “He’s two-faced. I find him to be a very nice guy but, you know, the truth is that I called him out on the fact that he’s not paying 2 per cent and I can see he’s not very happy about it.

“He’s not paying 2 per cent and he should be paying 2 per cent. Canada, they have money.”

Speculation mounted this afternoon that pique over the viral clip was his real reason for pulling out of the press conference.

Mr Trump explained it by saying he had already held many press briefings over his three-day visit to the UK.

On Twitter, he said: “When today’s meetings are over, I will be heading back to Washington. We won’t be doing a press conference at the close of NATO because we did so many over the past two days. Safe travels to all!”

After bilateral meetings with the leaders of Turkey, Germany, Denmark and Italy, as well as lunch with the eight other nations — including Britain — that meet the 2 per cent of GDP spending target, he said that he would be returning to the US capital.

Mr Trudeau attempted to row back from his indiscreet remarks. “The relationship we have with the United States is very strong and I have a very good relationship with President Trump and his team,” he said.

Attempting to explain away his comments about jaws dropping, he said there had been surprise over Mr Trump’s announcement that the next G7 meeting will be hosted at Camp David, the US president’s country retreat in Maryland.

“We were all surprised and I think pleased to learn that the next G7 will be at Camp David. I think that was an unscheduled announcement and I think everyone’s team, every different leader has teams that every now and then have their jaw drop at unscheduled surprises like that video itself for example,” he said.

Mr Trudeau and Mr Trump were seen to exchange remarks at a Nato leaders photo call this morning, but it was unclear what was discussed.

The prickliness of Mr Trump’s relationship with both Mr Trudeau and the Canadian prime minister is well known, but footage of Mr Johnson appearing to enjoy gossiping about the US president could dampen the pair’s rapport.

Asked about the clip and whether it showed he did not take Mr Trump seriously, Mr Johnson said: “Utter nonsense.” He evaded further questioning about the incident during his own press conference.

In other eye-catching footage from the reception, the Queen was seen signalling to the Princess Royal just after she officially welcomed the Trumps in the official line-up.

Mr Trump and Melania, who were the last couple to be greeted, had just met the Queen and were talking to the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall when the Queen gestured to her daughter.

Princess Anne, who was not part of the official reception line but was one of the members of the royal family who were there to entertain the Queen’s guests, shrugged in response.

This prompted speculation on social media that the Queen had been suggesting the princess join them, and that Anne had demurred. However a closer examination of the footage revealed that the Queen had merely been asking Anne if there were any leaders left who were yet to meet her.

Anne can be seen raising both her hands in the air, laughing and saying. “It’s just me.” She then added: “And this lot,” as she pointed to the members of the household behind her.
