I’m expressing my opinion, and you are entitled to yours. Why am I a problem? Because I am white? I work, pay taxes, have not broken the law, work with and respect people of all races, have volunteered extensively in schools and for various charities. How is that a problem exactly? Because I don’t agree with the narrative clowns in Ireland watching US TV channels buy into?
What would you call it when someone takes aim at a uniformed officer with a gun and shoots them dead, as happened with the killing in Oakland? I would call that assassinated, as in JFK was assassinated. My question is why this death is not being protested by BLM or discussed in the media, a valid conclusion is that particular black life did not matter because he wore a uniform.
The people throwing rocks through windows and looting are thugs, you can choose to call them what you want. What would you call them if they threw rocks through your windows and stole everything they felt like? There is no question there are agitators / anarchists like Antifa among the protesters, you’re not paying attention if you haven’t seen that.
You seem to think destroying property and looting is fair game, maybe if someone was destroying your house you would feel differently. Given the level of looting and destruction of property, the police have been very restrained. There is a strong argument to be made they should be far less restrained and go after the criminals involved much more aggressively.

The only person I have a hard on for is my wife mate. This is what I mean about clowns drawing conclusions from video snippets. The protests in Seattle all weekend were quite violent, bottles and rocks being throw at police, a freeway shut down, lots of looting. The cops have a judgement call to make on when a protest is turning into a riot, and their job is to disperse the crowd before things get really ugly. Pepper spray and tear gas is pretty effective, would you prefer if they started shooting people?

I suppose if you never have to wait until a riot happens to escalate the situation with violence - if you only have to make a “judgement call” as you say that it might happen - then it pretty much justifies any action. Handy.

Plenty of evidence of unprovoked attacks by police on peaceful protesters and journalists over the last few days. We should be grateful they weren’t shot. What a mindset.
