US Politics - A Society in Meltdown

What a laughing stock of a regime.

The Trump one, obviously, not the North Koreans, who are merely laughing at making fools of them in front of the world.

If the utterly corrupt ANC fail to get a majority in next year’s elections and enter a coalition with the EFF there is every chance South Africa will become another Zimbabwe. The best outcome is probably an EFF/DA coalition, even though they are at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Where’s the “white genocide” Trump is talking about?

Does it even matter though? Does it?

Careful now any criticism of the ANC means you agreed with apartheid

That’s one hell of a straw man you have there, mate.

He’ll go nicely with all your other ones.

The most critical opponents of the ANC are black South Africans who are increasingly attracted to the DA and EFF. I doubt they supported apartheid. The ANC have been in power for 24 years and are being increasingly seen as just another corrupt single party government.

ANC corruption was widespread long before they were in government

Senator McCain has passed, sad news.

Not really, an unhinged warmonger for most of the last few decades.

Classy

He was a decent guy. Didn’t agree with him on a lot of things but such is the way.

He was badly fucked over in the 2000 campaign

Trying to keep unhinged ballbags in Arizona at bay.

W was the better candidate then tbh.

I thought McCain was tbh.

There wasn’t much that could be described as decent about McCain, but out of respect for the dead lets leave it there.

There was fuck all wrong with McCain. He was a decent man.

As Republicans go McCain was a virtual saint, relatively speaking, of course.

He made a massive mistake opening the door to the sort of deranged nutjobbery the US has to suffer through now by picking the prototype deranged nutjob, Palin. He knew within a week that he had made a massive mistake.

But he at least saw straight through Trump.

He was smeared no doubt, just think W was a better candidate for then. McCain was big into his foreign policy stuff, people forget that W had some major plans in Education that half fell by the wayside due to 911.
