US Politics II. Trump’s extreme regime

I’m not overly concerned about robots trying to navigate the mucky gaps and bumpy fields. The drones are a concern though…any lad not owning a shotgun is basically asking to be eliminated

Based on your postings on here I’m not sure it’s a good idea that you have a gun.

AI, like the INTERNET itself, will be used by the world’s richest and worst people to hijack the information space.

It’ll be used to literally re-write history. Within a few years you’ll likely have AI programs which tell you the Holocaust didn’t happen, and you’ll definitely have AI that tells you Palestinians don’t exist.

AI of course will certainly be used to round up and deport innocent people based on their electronic activity and it will most definitely be used to blow a lot of innocent brown people to bits.

I’d like to here @Julio_Geordio or @TreatyStones thoughts on it.

They are usually reasonable enough on most topics.

We already know how this stuff goes. Techno utopianists are always wrong.

I dunno, techno utopia sounds pretty cool.

Yes and it never happens, the opposite happens.

No limits

Have you tried yokes?

I’ve tried enough pills which don’t work, thanks.

The potential for misuse is frightening. The below video should scare the life out of any parent who plasters their children all over social media.

Crikey

The North koreans are now applying for remote jobs in any sort of company, using AI generated videos combined with ChatGPT generated answers to try and pass videos calls / interviews. They’ve had plenty of success too going by reports.

Adam Curtis’s documentaries are based on one main central theme - how the grand ideas for organising society - be they communism, libertarianism, religion, free love, communes, arch-individualism, scientific management, using statistics to plan out a “rational” way for living, the idea of “perfectible humans”, the idea of medicating people to happiness, the logic of the markets as a way to run society, internet utopianism and the idea of the internet ushering in a more rational, kinder society, the idea of decentralised “leaderless” resistance movements, etc. etc. etc., how these ideas always ultimately fail disastrously and lead to disastrous unintended consequences.

These ideas were all utopian and could not withstand contact with the real world of billions of human beings.

AI is merely the latest “great idea” packaged as an enticing idea of a utopian future - and like the mass heel turn of corporate types on Trump and fascism, we’ve seen a sudden about turn by the same people who only a short time ago were warning of the disastrous consequences of AI, because they now smell $$$$$$$$$$$. AI too will end in disastrous unintended consequences for humanity. It will make people poorer, lazier, more cynical, more depressed, angrier, stupider and enable great evils. And it will make a very small number of people dramatically richer.

All that also applies to cryptocurrencies.

Swayzie

Something like this is always the likelihood with “grand ideas” of mass deportation. You don’t have the numbers of people to enforce it. You don’t want to spend the money it would take.

Mass murder is a lot easier.

The people of Gaza should have little doubt: the Trump/Netanyahu axis has them slated for death.

Only the start of it. America will be like the handmaid’s tale yet

Great again?

Even better

That women in sports thing even the creepy jimmy saville style photo shoot is popular with the dopey man on the Clapham Omnibus and is a big WIN I’m afraid cheasty.
The unbelievable cunt of a man is on a decent vein of form at the moment I’m afraid.
