Would it not be more obvious to acknowledge that successive US presidents advised Europe against buying gas from russia, warned that they could shut off the supply, and then blew up the pipeline…and then sold the Europeans their (more expensive) gas instead?
It would.
But the current Head Honcho has pissed in the Europops cornflakes now so it looks like Norway will be supplying all that wonderful gas going forward…. Unless Mr Putin comes knocking on their front door too….
Wise up. Putin is still supplying europe with gas. And why would putin knock on Norways door…to wind-up a bunch of purse clutching karens?
Trump now openly threatening extermination on Gaza.
But hey, @glenshane promised us he was the peace guy.
@glenshane is a very smart guy. Shure I mean he says so himself.
This is a very good speech by French senator Claude Malhuret.
"Washington has become the court of Nero - an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers, and a buffoon on ketamine tasked with purging the civil service.
This is a tragedy for the free world, but above all it’s a tragedy for the United States."
“He beleives he will intimidate China by capitulating to Putin, but Xi Jinping, witnessing such a collapse, is undoubtedly accelerating preparations for the invasion of Taiwan.”
He’s not wrong.
‘The Draft Dodger’, I love it.
@glenshane nods sagely along, sends off his CV to the Gestapo
(Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration is planning to revoke temporary legal status for some 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict with Russia, a senior Trump official and three sources familiar with the matter said, potentially putting them on a fast-track to deportation.
The move, expected as soon as April, would be a stunning reversal of the welcome Ukrainians received under President Joe Biden’s administration.
I said a couple of weeks ago Trump might well confront Martin like an ADHD addled toddler throwing a tantrum and publicly attempt to extort Ireland of the Apple tax money.
I think that now more than ever.
Exclusive: Micheál Martin should ‘sit out’ Paddy’s Day White House trip, Trump’s ex chief of staff says
Mick Mulvaney speaks to John Deasy on why the taoiseach should consider not taking up the invitation to the White House
Surprised to see you aligning with a Trump ally.
Mulvaney doesn’t want Martin to go because Ireland is an enemy of MAGA. Ireland is now enemy to the likes of Mulvaney.
Martin shouldn’t go precisely because America is now Ireland’s enemy and there is a serious risk Trump will publicly try to extort our Taoiseach.
It’s very easy to understand.
Maybe Micheál could also not turn up to the Dáil of he thinks the opposition are going to give out ot him? Maybe instead of turning up to the European council he should take a duvet day?
Rather glib response.
Correct.
Mehole is not passing up a chance to hand over a bowl of shamrocks to the President of the USA in the Oval Office even if it is to Trump. He wants that photo. He’ll take his dressing down and scurry off home like a good boy
Do you genuinely think that’s a motivation for him?
100%
As suggested - most of Trumps actions to date have had investors turning to Europe over the US. Instead of MAGA he’s managed to convince the money markets that it will likely MEGA.
I doubt it. I doubt a picture with Trump would make the wall.
I’d say every company that imports from the US is frantically seeking European alternatives. Canadians and Mexicans included.
‘un buffoon sous ketemine’
The merovingian was right, insults just sound better in French
