Would it not be more obvious to acknowledge that successive US presidents advised Europe against buying gas from russia, warned that they could shut off the supply, and then blew up the pipeline…and then sold the Europeans their (more expensive) gas instead?

But the current Head Honcho has pissed in the Europops cornflakes now so it looks like Norway will be supplying all that wonderful gas going forward…. Unless Mr Putin comes knocking on their front door too….

As suggested - most of Trumps actions to date have had investors turning to Europe over the US. Instead of MAGA he’s managed to convince the money markets that it will likely MEGA.

I’d say every company that imports from the US is frantically seeking European alternatives. Canadians and Mexicans included.
