The main interesting thing about that clip is how the moron wants to continue talking about something they are obviously wrong about while the journalist is desperately trying to move to another topic of conversation because they’re afraid of pressing the moron on their wrongness.
It sums up the problem with current political discourse in two ways.
i )The shouty, arrogant, obnoxious right wing boor, totally confident in their ignorance and stupidity.
ii) The meek “journalist”, afraid to do their job.
Journalists need to be arrogant, obnoxious, totally unafraid and when needs, be, boorish and bullying. They need to take delight in ridiculing people in positions of power.
It’s why Vincent Browne was so effective.

Have you considered moving into journalism?
To do that I’d have to consider leaving the house for a few minutes which I find pretty hard to do these days, especially when the sun is shining like it is today.
