US Politics - A Society in Meltdown

I find it absolutely fascinating that people are seemingly entirely willing to believe a man that has lied, I think it’s around 9,000 times since taking office, at the last count.

And to completely dismiss every single news report over the last two and a bit years that his regime has been involved in cover ups, criminality and conspiracy, as well as an ocean of other hateful shit like the racism, anti-semitism, crazy economic policies, the cravenness towards the gun lobby and the massive influence of evangelical nutcases in framing “policy”, and I use the inverted commas deliberately.

But sure if glib, say nothing replies like the above get a few “likes” from simpletons on the internet, I guess that’s all that matters.

Fascinating to watch, indeed.

But what about Russia? Did you get your fix of Rachel porn last night? It must be horrendous for you when she’s off for the weekend trout fishing in Tennessee.

The Iraq War was a product of the neo-cons of the Republican party. There has been a big move to try and claim that Trumpism isn’t a neo-con project. That has been shown to be a lie. The same neo-cons are now back in power. The whole Republican party, in truth, is neo-con pretty much from top to bottom. And we’re supposed to believe those same neo-cons now - at least that’s what @anon7035031 tells us.

Hi, mate, your post there is even more shit and pointless than usual.

A quick question - have you read the Mueller report yet?

It’s just that, you know, you were clearly implying that you have.

So, have you?

It has nothing to do with believing Trump. He’s a gobshite thats a given. I find it hard to believe he is some kind of mastermind that has successfully got away with colluding with the russians all the same. If evidence of that had been uncovered he’d be facing indictments now. He’s not. And neither is anyone connected with him.

No need to read it pal, I’ve used my considerable intellectual capacity since 2016 to follow the story and understand exactly what is going on. As an independent critical thinker it’s easy to put together the pieces. If you weren’t an intellectually challenged halfwit you could have done the same, as many on the left have. Do you not understand the basic premise that if Mueller had any evidence of collusion there would be indictments? If not Trump himself, his son, son-in-law and other campaign members? There are no further indictments, it’s over, you lost (again).

Even CNN have capitulated and accepted this will be favorable for Trump as it confirms what he has been saying and will hand him a huge victory.

Sure it was are but their lies were facilitated by the democrats and the media.

Trump hadn’t a notion of how Washington operates before the election and barely does now. The place is a cesspool of lobbyists, you couldn’t find enough special counsels to prosecute all of them.

The Iraq war was a result of 9/11, it’s really as simple as that. There is zero chance the war could have happened without 9/11 happening.

There have been 199 indictments so far.

Conspiracy is a notoriously difficult charge to prove.

It’s already been proven that Russia intefered in the election.

To believe there was no conspiracy, you’d also have to believe that Russia has never meddled or conspired in politics anywhere else in the world.

You’d have to disregard all the news reports over the last two and a half years that point to conspiracy.

You’d have to entirely disregard the Trump Tower meeting, the role of Wikileaks and Maria Butiyna.

You’d have to believe that in a hell of a lot of coincidences.

And you’d also have to believe that lack of criminal indictments automatically equals innocence - ie. by the same logic, you’d have to believe that the seventeen British Army paratroopers who were not prosecuted as a result of the Blody Sunday inquiry, are all entirely innocent. You’d have to believe Solider F didn’t murder Michael Kelly despite his bullet being found inside Kelly’s body.

You’d have to disregard that the Mueller investigation is only one part of the overall investigation and that there are several other branches.

You’d have to believe any old shit, in other words.

As I said, it’s absolutely fascinating to watch such people in action.

The backtrack has begun :joy:
It was a slam dunk for the past two years you daft cunt.

You just get more and more hilarious, bud.

Your favourite news sources are right-wing disinformation and conspiracy theory sites.

You’re a laughing stock.

…and yet you are the one who is consistently wrong?
Wrong about Liverpool for 25 years, wrong about the 2016 US election, wrong about Brexit, wrong about Kavanaugh, and now spectacularly wrong about RussiaGate
What gives mate, why are you always so confident in your predictions yet always wrong?

Bit rich considering you were pushing the discredited buzzfeed article as the smoking gun here a few months back.

You’re making a fool of yourself, pal.

This is very much a nightly thing with you now.

Last night you claimed you weren’t an atheist and had never claimed to be such, when you’d previously stated that exact thing.

You were made mice meat of on the Peterson thread and then ran off.

Now you’re claiming to have read a report which hasn’t even been released.

It’s really sad to watch you descend into a human punchbag like this.

I linked to an article from a reputable source, mate. Unlike the brain dead racist in Nebraska, I only link to reputable sources, not conspiracy sites.

The article was not debunked.

I’m still not an atheist mate. I only say that when I’m talking to simpletons who don’t understand the difference between atheist and agnostic, as atheist is easier for them to grasp. It’s a lazy answer, but sure…

Hmmm…

“The rare public statement by a spokesman for the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, challenged the facts of an article published by BuzzFeed News on Thursday saying that Mr. Cohen had told prosecutors about being pressured by the president before his congressional testimony.
BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the special counsel’s office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony are not accurate,” said the spokesman, Peter Carr.”

You claim to be an atheist.

And simultaneously you claim to not be an atheist.

You dont even understand simple words that you post.

There is nothing that can be simple enough for you, pal.

I think it’s down to a genetic IQ deficiency, but that’s hardly surprising when your mother is also your aunt.

The statement did not dispute the substantive points of the article and that was generally agreed across US media at the time.
