Almost as bad as the President inviting people into the White House who have been marching in the streets chanting āpigs in a blanket, fry em like baconā AFTER the cops were shot in Dallas. The rhetoric from both sides at this point is poisonous, but Obama has been particularly obnoxious in his efforts to cozy up to Black Lives Matter. He is simply attempting to restore his tarnished image with the black community, as the sad reality is during his 8 year tenure, on every metric, blacks have gone backwards economically. Hope and Change my hole.
On the other hand the Republican party are completely and utterly ossified, a process that started in 1992 and has come to its natural conclusion. When Ross Perot took 18% of the popular vote in 1992, it should have been a wake up call, but the morons chose to crush his Reform party rather than embracing it. The Republicans have pulled a master stroke, by their standards. They announced today they will propose reinstating Glass Seagal. Hillary canāt follow suit as Wall Street completely lost their shit today, calling the Republicans insane. She simply canāt go there as they publically and privately fund her.
Trump is going after Wall Street as thatās the one issue that might convince a small number of Bernie supporters to vote for him. Wall Street and the too big to fail banks are the # issue for young educated voters. A lot of them believe the democratic primaries were corrupted (what a surprise, itās a Clinton), and hate her enough to vote for her opponent. Especially if he is saying the things they care about.
If this sticks Trump will romp home, while the democrats are busy dissecting Melaniaās speech.
